The Day Ends with the Guarantee Being Doubled!

Three flights of Event #16: $1,700 No Limit Holdem Main Event have taken place. A total of 669 players participated across all flights in hopes of winning a World Series of POKER Main Event Ring. After the initial rounds, only 131 players were able to find a bag for the next stage of the tournament, which takes place tomorrow at 12 p.m. Although none of the players have won any cash yet, they will soon be competing for a share of the $1,013,535 prize pool which over doubled the guarantee!

A complete breakdown of the prize pool will happen at the start of Day 2 before play kicks off. The tournament will continue until a final table is reached, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at 12 p.m.

Based on the final count of the three flights, Nick Marchington from Flight 1a has the biggest stack and is currently leading as the players gear up for Day 2. Following Brock Wilson with 401,000 and John Longowa with 372,000 in second and third place, respectively. However, there are still a lot of other players outside the top 10 who have enough chips and skill to make a significant impact before the day ends.

Top Stacks in Day 2:

1 Nick Marchington 417,000
2 Brock Wilson 401,000
