Sivagnanam Sends Deyra to the Rail
A player in middle position raised to 21,000 only to see Ivan Deyra three-bet jam for 66,000 from the cutoff. Action folded through to Ratharam Sivagnanam in the big blind who came in for a four-bet to 166,000. The original raiser from middle position got out of the way, setting up a runout with Deyra at risk.
Ivan Deyra: A of Diamonds, J of Clubs, Ratharam Sivagnanam: A of Hearts, K of Spade,
The J of Spade, Q of Diamonds, 4 of Hearts, flop was a great one for Deyra, but that quickly changed when the hit the turn, giving Sivagnanam the nut straight and leaving Deyra drawing to a chop.
The river offered no such rescue, though, as the board completed with the Q of Hearts, to send Deyra to the rail with a min-cash.
