Micheal Byers leads 60 players to Day 2

Two starting flights with three entries allowed per flight saw 568 entrants juice the prize pool to just under $800,000. Sunday’s Day 2 has 60 players returning to action with Michael Byers leading the field with 1.2 million.

Three players are within shouting distance of Byers: Charlie Dawson (935,000), Chun Law (855,000) and Flight 1A leader Anthony Allison (800,000). The top of the returning field is frightening with Matt Higgins, Daniel Lowery, BJ McBrayer, John Gallaher and Maurice Hawkins all bring healthy stacks to Day 2.

Further down the counts are Jesse Lott, Cody Stanford, Jack Keller and Spencer Champlin. Allen Kessler, Preston McEwen and Roland Israelashvili have a long march ahead of them as some of the shorter remaining stacks.

Full chip counts and table draws can be found at the tabs above. Play gets underway on Day 2 at noon on Sunday with the goal of playing down to a final table.
