Marty Martin leads six-handed Day 3 final table
The field played 9.5 hours before they reached the final six players – just 10% of the field that began the day. Marty Martin ended the day with 6.3 million for the chip lead.
The two-time WSOPC ring winner can’t be comfortable with his lead with a final table long on experience. Matt Higgins with four rings sits second in chips and Tuscaloosa’s favorite son BJ McBrayer is third in chips – who has a ring and 87 WSOP cashes.
At the bottom of the counts are Ronnie Taylor and Richard Hines – each with a couple cashes on record. Dale Roesel is fifth in chips, has a ring and is fresh off an 8th place finish in the WSOPC Cherokee Main Event final table in November.
Daniel Lowery, Charlie Dawson, Spencer Champlin, Cody Stanford and Johnny Gallaher all made deep runs on Day 2.
