Lim and Zouari Eliminated on the Bubble

Chin Wei Lim moved all in for his last 60,000 from under the gun and was called by Armin Rezaei in the big blind who covered.

Chin Wei Lim: a of Hearts, k of Hearts, Armin Rezaei: j of Clubs,

Rezaei pulled ahead with top pair on the j of Diamonds, 7 of Diamonds, 6 of Spade, flop and remained ahead on the 8 of Spade, turn and 4 of Diamonds, river to eliminate Lim on the stone bubble. There were another three hands running, two of which resulted in all-in and call.

Matthew Aquino was the first to commit his short stack with the A of Spade, J of Diamonds, and he needed to improve, as Tengqi Zhan had the superior Q of Hearts, Q of Diamonds, . The K of Spade, 7 of Hearts, 6 of Diamonds, flop provided no help but the A of Diamonds, turn pulled Aquino ahead, which he preserved thanks to the 7 of Clubs, river.

Last but not least, Marian Farcas three-bet jammed once again into a shorter stack. This time, it was Jeremie Zouari who had opened to 26,000 in the cutoff. Farcas made the move from the big blind and Zouari called off for the 190,000 he had behind the open raise after they engaged in table chat.

Jeremie Zouari: A of Spade, J of Hearts, Marian Farcas: A of Clubs, 3 of Clubs,

The weaker kicker got there twice on the K of Hearts, 6 of Diamonds, 3 of Spade, 10 of Diamonds, 3 of Hearts, runout. Since players need to bag up chips for Day 2 in order to secure the min-cash, Zouari also came up empty-handed.

Marian Farcas 1,400,000 300,000
Tengqi Zhan 383,000 -287,000
Armin Rezaei 295,000 182,600
Matthew Aquino 203,000 103,000
