Lee Rzentkowski Scoops Lead on Last Hand After Wild Day 2

Lee Rzentkowski Day 2 of the Grand Victoria Main Event began with 80 players and ended with just 5 after 12 hours of frantic action.

Lee Rzentkowski ended the night as chip leader after a final hand saw him crack aces and surge to the lead at the last moment.

Stephen Song had a great day as he vaulted to the top of the counts early on and dominated the final table for much of the night before finishing in second place.

Tom Koral, Timothy Mulroy and Svetlozar Momtchilov all finished the night with shorter stacks after they all had eventful days, especially Mulroy who made a big hero call with a three tables left to move to the top of the counts and ride the momentum from there.

The pace of play was rapid throughout the day, as eliminations came quicker than anticipated, especially when two tables were reached as there was an insane speed of eliminations that brought the field from 18 down to 12 in a span of about 20 minutes which made the counts deepen for the remaining players.

Start of day chip leader David Kim had a great start to the day and began to accumulate a massive stack with two tables left. At one point he had an over 7 million stack, with was more than 200 big blinds at the time. But when the players converged to one table of ten, he began to lose cooler after cooler and would eventually be eliminated in 8th place.

The five remaining players will return tomorrow at noon to determine the winner. All of the action will be brought to you by PokerOrg and available to view on PokerOrg Instant for videos of hands and more.
