Eric Adelstein Eliminated in 7th Place ($41,489)

Soheb Porbandarwala raised to 240,000 from the hijack only to face a three-bet jam to 1,750,000 from Eric Adelstein in the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and after a moment of deliberation, Porbandarwala decided on making the call, prompting the cards to be turned face up as both players headed to a runout.

Eric Adelstein: 8 of Clubs, 8 of Spade, Soheb Porbandarwala: a of Diamonds,

The flop came k of Diamonds, q of Diamonds, 9 of Hearts, , giving Porbandarwala the royal flush draw. The turn brought the 5 of Diamonds, , locking the hand up for Porbandarwala but the river banged off the J of Diamonds, , giving Porbandarwala the royal flush.

The table was stunned as one player commented that this just must be Porbandarwala’s tournament as he is simply running away with it at this point.

As the table shook off the insanity of seeing the rarest hand in the game hit the river o such a huge final table, Adelstein was left to make his exit in 7th place for $41,489 and with that, Porbandarwala now hold 65% of the chips in play with just 6 players remaining.

Soheb Porbandarwala – 23,000,000
Eric Adelstein – Eliminated
