Dinner Break in the Main Event

Shahab Shirazi

After nine levels of play, the remaining players in the field of the Main Event have been sent on a 60-minute dinner break as the tournament clock currently shows 346 total entries with 153 remaining.

Late registration will remai open through the dinner break and thereafter until the start of Level 13.

We’ve seen a few dogs show up on the rail along with some friendly rivalries across the felt.

There are some big stacks building and a few tables with a whole lot of chips on them.

From what we can see scanning the room, it looks like Shahab Shirazi is the chip leader going into break, sitting on around 440,000.
