Day 2 ends with Peter Ng leading 19 players

Day 2 of the Main Event returned 170 players – all hoping to get their ticket punched to a big money Day 3. After ten levels of play, 19 players remain and Peter Ng leads the way with 11.8 million

Andrew Moreno is right behind him with 10.3 million and they have a good cushion over Dale Roesel with 7.8 million. Adam Hendrix, Michael Wang and Maurice Hawkins fill out  the top ten. Then Chris Mo, Rubin Chappell, Matthew Osorio, Ryan D’Angelo and Zak VanKeuren return with shorter stacks.

Each returning player is guaranteed $17,507 but 18th place earns $21,174 for any short-stacked player to stave off elimination. Day 2 resumes promptly at noon in the corner by the Final Table stage. They’ll take they elevated platform at ten-handed and stay up there until we crown a winner.
