David Kim Leads After Day 1C

David Kim Day 1C was the largest day of the Main Event as it gathered 307 entries to make for 652 total across all three opening flights.

At the end of the 17 levels, 40 players remained which doubled the field for Day 2 to 80 total.

David Kim bagged a heaping stack with 1,272,000 to end the night with the lead. He was spotted in the middle part of the day with a large stack and that stack would only continue to increase as the day went on.  Paul Elfelt ended with the second largest stack with 787,000 and David Schonback ended the night with 753,000 to be the only other players to have more than 700,000. A few other notable players who found their way to Day 2 included; Eemil Tuominen, Michael Phillips and Scott Bohlman.

The 40 players will move on to Day 2 which will be at 12 noon tomorrow.
