Brek Schutten hold the chip lead as players head to break

Players in the Main Event have headed to a 15-minute break and those 15 minutes will be the last chance for anyone to hop in the action on the Day 1b session.

All numbers will be updated after players return from break but as players head out the door, one player stands above the rest as the field moves late into the day.

That player is Brek Schutten, who is an accomplished player with a polished resume already. Certainly not the kind of player you want with chips at your table.

There are one or two players edging close to him, namely Dan O’Connor, who heads to break sitting on 401,500, making him Schutten’s closest competitor at the moment.

Here’s a look at a few other players that have found themselves dep on Day 1b:

Alex Barlow – 181,500
Kirby Rogers – 210,00
Cero Zuccarello – 290,000
Zachary Lerma – 251,000
Lucas Graham – 232,000
Brandon Mueller – 130,000
Jake Grimes – 227,500
Dan O’connor – 401,500
Chris Moon – 355,000
