Another Record-Breaking Field on the Way?

End of Level 3 Chip Leader Steven Gnatovich

The first break of the day has arrived and as has been all week for the WSOP Circuit series, the Thunder Valley POKER room is packed with players seeking WSOP glory and a fat payday.

Through three levels, 205 entries have taken their seats, including many big names and former Circuit Main Event champions like Michael Persky, Bilguun Odgerel, Jarod Minghini, and Paul Richardson to name just a few.

The Thunder Valley record for a Main Event Day 1A is 292 entries, and with nine more levels plus a dinner break before registration closes at about 9 p.m. local time, that number looks a certainty to be eclipsed Friday.

Here is a look at the top five stacks so far:

1. Steven Gnatovich – 124,000 2. William Heinselman – 109,000 3. Tyler Martin – 100,000 4. Justin Stewart – 98,300 5. Edward Pak – 95,000

Aling with some other notables:

Amir Lehavot – 86,000 Travis Fujisaka – 72,500 Andrew Ostapchanko – 70,000 Cornel Cimpan – 61,800 Lexy Gavin-Mather – 60,000 Paul Richardson – 55,000 Bob Mather – 53,600 Michael Persky – 51,100 Antonio Ma – 43,000 Dann Turner – 42,700
